Food Bank

We always encourage our children to think about those less fortunate than themselves in the local community.  This year, we are joining forces with our parish church and having an ongoing, weekly collection for our local Trussell Food Bank, in Silverdale. Please continue to donate each Tuesday and our children will take the goods to church with them each Thursday morning. 

As part of learning about Almsgiving  and how can we help others in our community during Lent, the Reception children suggested to donate food to our local foodbank. They brought an item of food in to school, which they carried down to our church and gave to Father Anton.
