On 1st April, the government updated their Covid-guidance and outlined their 'Living with Covid-19' plans.
Please follow the most up-to-date guidance for schools if your child shows symptoms of Covid-19:
- Children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.
- Children and young people under the age of 18 with a positive COVID-19 test result should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days, which is when they are most infectious. They can return to school on day 4. For adults, the advice is to stay at home for 5 days and return to work on day 6.
- Regular asymptomatic testing is no longer recommended in any education setting.. Therefore, we will no longer be able to order test kits.

Most children will only need to complete remote learning at home if they are isolating for 3 days. We do not expect children to complete any work at home if they feel unwell. Work is available for children to complete if they are isolating and well enough to do so. This can be accessed via the class pages under the 'Our Pupils' menu. Please see also our guidance on remote learning below:
