Year 2 School Closure Work
Teachers can be contacted during school hours and will respond within 24 hours. We will notify you of who to contact in the event of the class teacher being ill. Teachers are available to set work and discuss any questions you have regarding work set.

Dear Year 2,
Thank you so much for the lovely flowers which arrived in school on Tuesday. What a wonderful surprise!
They look fantastic in my house and smell wonderful.
As you know, I have made the difficult decision to leave Our Lady & St Werburgh’s in order to look after my elderly parents. I will visit you all in September when the whole school is reunited to say goodbye properly.
Thank you for many happy memories. Wishing you all a happy summer and every success in Year 3.

This week we are thinking about The Mass and listening carefully to the Word of God in the Readings. Think about your favourite Old Testament story. Draw a picture and write about it. Read the parable of The Sower. What does Jesus tell us about Listening in this parable? Colour the picture that tells the story of The Sower. Can you write what is happening in each picture?
