Our School Saints
The great patronesses of our school and parish communities are Our Lady, Blessed Mother of Jesus, and Mother of us all, and St Werburgh, a local saint. We also have class saints to guide each class in their faith and learning-please see individual class pages under 'Our Pupils'. As a whole school, we have adopted the patrons of the British Isles as our House Saints, to bring children of different ages together in their teams. At our school, we wish for these saints to be an inspiration for us all to become saints of the future, as in the words of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI: "A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints.”
