"Entertaining and informative, tour of the Minster!"

I visited with my school and they gave us and in depth view of how the Minster evolved.  I learned how the Minster suffered from fire damage and how it was recovered. The member of staff who showed us round gave us lots of interesting information about the amazing Rose window, he demonstrated how to build a gothic cathedral. It seemed quite simple!

Despite the work being done and the mystery plays that were being performed inside the minster, we still saw the  beauty of the interior alongside all the mistakes that were made in the building process.

Overall we had an amazing time.

'The delicious, hot and tasty fudge kitchen'

On Tuesday 14th June 2016 myself and my class visited the fudge kitchen ,it was the most fantastic experience and  the staff gave u the secret ingredients to the fudge they make. A member of staff, after she had made it, gave us a sample of the golden syrup fudge and it tasted delicious.

At the end of the experience I was upset to leave I am sure I will visit again.

'Holgate Hotel York'

My class went to York on a residential trip for one week Monday 13th June 2016 to Friday 17th June 2016. we stayed in the welcoming hotel. When we arrived they were so nice and the house was warm and the rooms were very clean and well organised. Te service of food was lovely and they provided us with breakfast ,lunch and dinner.

When we left on Friday I was upset and will recommend the hotel to my family if w come to York on holiday.

York Fundraiser 2016

This year in Year 6, we planned a phenomenal event to raise money for our York Trip. The children planned, advertised and organised their stalls and, thanks to the weather, we had a brilliant day. Thanks to everyone who helped, we raised around £400!
