Dear Parents
Primary education is an important step in the future development of your child. At Our Lady & St Werburghs we provide a secure, safe and happy environment where every child is valued as an individual, is recognised for their unique talents and is accepted for who they are.
Our strong Catholic ethos underpins the relationship between parents, staff and pupils. Our mission statement is an active document demonstrating our beliefs and commitment to your child.
The recent Ofsted (October 2006) and Religious Education Inspection (December 2006) judged the school as being outstanding in every category, an achievement of which we are enormously proud. Academic standards at Our Lady & St Werburghs are consistently high and well above average. In 2006 the school had the best Key Stage 2 results out of over 300 primary schools in Staffordshire. This excellent achievement placed us in the top 1% in the whole country.
Our aim is to develop our pupils to reach their full potential and we believe that it is important to celebrate the achievements of the whole child. This is reflected in our excellent academic achievement and success in many sporting and musical events.
